Formerly the Amateur Rowing Association, British Rowing are our oldest client. We've worked with them for over twenty years, building and maintaining the systems that let them administer the sport of rowing in the UK.

They have an in-house IT team, to whom we provide consultancy and sometimes practical help too. Our work for them includes design and maintenance responsibilities for their membership and competition databases, as well as day-to-day support of their in-house systems, including the complex and highly secure interfaces between databases and the Web. We're also helping behind the scenes as they prepare for their biggest event, ever: the London Olympics, 2012.

Although we probably all feel we're psychologists to an extent, genuine industrial psychology is the province of true experts. KRF Metals in Brislington, Bristol are metal fabricators. Their main market is specialist parts for air conditioning, and they have customers all over the UK - you may be breathing air now that's moved through their ductwork!

Sheet metalworking still uses many traditional methods, but, in the 25 years KRF has been established, most of the ancillary processes have become high-tech. Technical drawing has become "CAD", and even the day-to-day systems of customer contact, billing and supplier management are now fully computerized.
